I’m a cookier and I’ll admit it, sugar addict. They say that’s the first step in a recovery program, but let’s face it I may be a lost cause.
I spend my days managing a marketing team and my nights (and most weekends) baking and decorating cookies.
After college, I realized that even though I loved my job, the company potlucks gave me more of a creative outlet than my inbox.
My baking journey started as a fun hobby and became a passion. I love working with anything that contains sugar, but I love working with you more! Every event is unique, so I treat every dessert as a fresh new opportunity to showcase my style.
I think I can honestly thank decorated cookies for improving my time management skills as well as for giving me patience. Okay… the last part is a lie, but, I do have a greater appreciation for the 24-hour grocery stores and the self-checkout that never judges you for a 2 a.m. powdered sugar run.
Hopefully, one day I can retire and become a stay-at-home dog mom, but until then, I’ll keep slinging cookies.
